Notes: Today in class we took a basic look into the course and what we will be doing in the next two weeks. It served as an introduction to many different types of technology and how we can use them.
-We started the class with an introduction of the instructor using the fakebook technology.
-We joined the class wiki which can be accessed directly from your angel lessons tab.
-An overview of the syllabus and classroom expectations can be found under the lessons tab as well.
-We discussed the online components of the course. We will meet in room 2162 on MWF from 8- 11:40AM. We will be ending class 20 minutes early daily based on the vote conducted during class. There is also an online component to the course. These activities can be done at anytime from the end of our class meeting till the beginning of the following class meeting. Essentially it is work to be completed on Tuesday and Thursday.
-Theme days were discussed today. These will be used as a fun way to earn .25 brownie points for participation. Be sure to go add your ideas on our class wiki page!
-To introduce ourselves we created our own fakebook pages. It was a way to introduce who we are and what we've done in schools up to date.
-We created a "make a date" clock to get four different partners to work with.
-You need to sign up for the diigo, lineout, and edmodo by the end of today!
